Kingston Launch CANVAS GO! PLUS Micro SD Cards

Kingston have recently announced an updated version to their previous generation of the Canvas Go Micro SD cards (SDCG2) to a new improved faster version named; Kingston CANVAS GO! PLUS microSD. This newer version receives the SKU with a pre-fix of SDCG3 and is available on launch with capacities of 64GB to 512GB. They’re also bundled with an SD adapter too for great versatility.
Improved Speeds.
As is the norm with updated memory card generations, the main updates come in respect of better improved speeds.
The new Kingston CANVAS GO! PLUS microSD memory cards have seen a significant increase on the read speed (transfer speed) with speeds available of up to 170MB/s, hardware dependent of course. The Video rating stays the same with V30 logos and U3 logos found on the front of the cards. In essence these logos simply mean that the card is guaranteed to offer a minimum sustained write speed of 30MB/s which means they’re suitable for uninterrupted seamless 4K video.
App rating has received a boost too. The new CANVAS GO! PLUS microSD has received an app rating of A2 over A1 on the previous generation. This means that you can launch apps faster within your mobile smartphone device.
The cards are launched in capacities of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB which makes them perfect for drones, action cams and the latest smartphones.
