On the 4th April Kingston Technology announced that they are releasing the A1000 SSD Hard Solid state Drive. This week Kingston have released the A1000 to the market. So we are having a great look at this hard drive and what it has to offer. The Kingston A1000 Solid State Drive is an entry level PCIe NVMe solution with Single Sided M.2 design. This form factor is makes it great for use with Notebooks and device with not much space.
The Kingston A1000 has been designed with a 4 Channel Phison E8 Controller and 3D Nand Flash Drive and can offers read and write speeds of 1500MB/s and 1000MB/s so this SSD is 2x faster than the SATA based SSD and 20x faster than a traditional Hard drive offering a great response to the user. The A1000 has also been designed with no moving parts making less likely for something to go wrong and with the quiet speeds and shock and vibration resistance it is a great addition to a notebook or any device that would be on the move.
