Works ok but I wrongly assumed the purple plastic bit could be flipped either way. It cannot. It can cover the USB-C but when flipped only moves 90 degrees and won't cover the USB-A. So, using it in a USB-C socket in my car, the plastic part hangs down and the USB-A isn't covered.
