I have used this to speed up a Dell Inspiron 3650 desktop from 2016. The SATA cables that come with the drive don't work for this PC so I used the USB kit instead. The cloning worked, note it takes the best part of an hour to get to the point where the cloning actually starts. (The video give the impression that this takes no time at all) It took about an hour or so to clone the drive which had about 250Gb on it. Make sure you plug the drive into a USB 3.0 slot not a USB 2.0 slot, otherwise it will take an age to clone. Once cloned, I could not get the PC to boot from the cloned drive as a USB device. As I don't need the hard drive any more I used the SATA cables for that to plug into the SSD and it all worked great. If I want to use the 2TB hard drive I'll need to buy the appropriate SATA cables.

Drive was dispatched and delivered quickly. Works great too! I had a mechanical HDD in my laptop, so switching to SSD has improved the speed greatly. I used EASUS to-do free version to clone my old drive which worked very well. I decided to go to Kingston direct as eBay is FLOODED with hacked drives/memory cards/USB sticks and so can't be trusted. Nice product from a reputable company. Free 2.5" USB caddy and cable too! That came in handy! A++

I needed to replace the old slow hard drive in my desktop with a SSD one. I received good advice from the support department at Kingston (Leigh) with regards to options and compatibility. The price was also very reasonable. I had to try twice with the downloaded Acronis software (included in the kit) to complete the cloning process. I am now using the SSD drive which has made my desktop much faster. Best take a look at the videos and other guides/reviews before starting the cloning process. Thank you.
