Drives fine, clone software first off hit an issue with licensing but thankfully online chat help solved this - why this isn’t searchable as fix (google self solve) or even provided online I have no idea. Second issue, clones drive wouldn’t boot so gave up and used a usb repair disk to wipe and do a fresh install. And started afresh

SSD delivered on time, simple installation although the pictograms in the box explaining how to do it could be improved on. The cloning SW worked first time and after a bit of time managing partition sizes I can now do lots of work that previously locked up the computer. I am thus very happy.

Installation kit provided all that was needed so that install was simple and straightforward...even for a novice like me. Most impressive was the fact that the software successfully cloned my system even though my old HDD was damaged and two other, proprietary software programs had previously failed to do the job. This was used to replace an existing SSD that had become overwhelmed by the ever expanding size of software. The Acronis cloning software kept reporting that there was insufficient space on the existing drive and so could not be loaded. Macrium was used instead, to clone the drive over USB 3 using the supplied housing (which is a brilliant extra to have), taking only about 15 mins to complete the task. The SSD was then removed from the USB housing, installed in a spare drive bay and connected to an empty SATA socket using the SATA cable supplied. Handily, there was a spare power connector available. in the existing loom. After convincing the BIOS to allow Windows to boot from the new SSD it operates faultlessly, makes every application run faster and allows me to install new software to my heart's content. Full marks also for delivery which was made next day, exactly as promised.
