Bought this Kingston 256GB KC600 SSD to update an ageingoffice computer - to keep it going for a while longer. Boot up is massively quicker. Coloning the old hard drive was easy using the SSD case; I removed the old hard drive and cloned it in another HDD case I had, which made the cloning using another computer so much easier. Just a little costlier than some other hard drives. Which is why I give 4 stars and not 5.

On the positive side, the SSD works well and was relatively simple to install - from Kingston videos on YouTube. However, on the negative side (1) I purchased a kit that had an enclosure that I did not need - should have just bought an SSD. (2) Delivery turned out to be twice as long as that stated at time of sale (got refund, but would have preferred nit to have the issue). (3) Needed to go into Bios to get the SSD recognised - cost me some time. I feel Kingston could have done more to lay this out in advance and save me time

Product was just what I wanted but delivery was late due to the Post Office keeping the item in the sorting office for three days.

My Lenovo Thinkpad had slowed down so much that I had to switch it on half an hour before I wanted to use it. Replaced the hard disk with a Kingston SSD with a clean install of Windows and it has transformed the laptop. Wish that I had done it sooner.

My order arrived promptly and contained everything I needed to switch over my old HDD for the SSD. I took a quick look at the video on the site and got it done in no time at all. My old laptop is now much faster!
