This worked well in the end, but the Acronis software didn't want to work with my Acer XC-895 (problems seeing the HDD and/or the SSD - driver problem??). Leigh at Kingston suggested Macrium instead, which worked very well. Also the mounting bracket in the kit wasn't compatible with the Acer drive bay so that wasn't much use. So I could have done this with the SSD and a SATA-to-USB cable rather than this bundle, but it worked well in the end, thanks to the helpful technical support.

This kit was so easy to use. The laptop is now much faster with the ssd instead of the mechanical drive.

Good improvement on mechanical hard drive. Cloning procedure requires imported software but works OK.

Had really slow start up on computer and wondered if ssd would work. Well I should not have worried, new ssd fitted and now computer works like new. Simple to fit using the kit from Kingston and speedy delivery. I should have changed disk ages ago

Very good quality and the kit has everything you will need. I was unsure about one stage of my transfer but the Kingston technical support were brilliant and resolved my problem.
