I was given confidence by the website that the RAM was compatible with my Dell Laptop. Indeed, clicked the RAM into place and the laptop booted up with an extra 8Gb of RAM.

Adding memory made a difference. I fitted a single 8gb module into a machine with a single slot and a 4gb module. Start up time halved and it just ran nicely after this. The service from Kingston was great - easy to order, despatched promptly, arrived on time, nicely packed, easy to install (with a little help from a YouTube video), and a happy owner. The memory does what's expected and there were/are no hitches. Would certainly buy again.
