Tour memory selector tool got me the right part and it arrived promptly.

Arrived in days Bought 64GB, very easy to install on new 27" iMac (Jan2021) The fans only come on continuously when running Lightroom (2GB catalog), Photoshop and Luminar at the same time and only for short periods when doing heavy editing in Lightroom. So I think 64GB was the right choice /overkill as the Mac flys.

Ordering and delivery from Kingston was very efficient. Installation into my new Mac was easy and it all works as I hoped it would. The most pleasing thing is doing it this way, was a lot cheaper than buying the extra memory from Apple already included.
